Why Not ?.

Thurston struggled this year only because his game relies too much on his combination with Matt Bowen, Now Matt Bowen will be back fit and raring to go I don't see why they can't be genuine top 6 contenders, they have added Tonga, Manuokafoa & Kaufusi to their ranks as well.

The Raiders I think will struggle big time, They have lossed something like 10 players and only gained three. So if Injuries occur I think they are up **** creek without a paddle their is only so much Campese can do by himself as their is limited strikepower in the Raiders team, alot of I's and buts. Campese needs to hold his form from this year especially without Todd Carney to have any hope for the top 8. Courageous Team that works as a team this year but I doubt they would be able to hold their own next season, I'd expect them to be on of the bottom three teams along with The Tigers and The Panthers.

The Eels need a major turn-around to dream of coming fifth, maybe Daniel Anderson is what they need to steer the ship but also "star" players like Inu and Hayne really need to get going as they struggled for form most of the year, again It's a lack of strikepower in key positions. Finch needs to hit some sort of form because again Mateo is the real only match winner they got in a key position. Outside of Hindmarsh & Mateo they have fairly limited personnel in the forward pack too.

Being realistic I don't think we will make the eight, Crossman is a bit of a dud signing and only a depth player as i've been told. Cleal has potential but nothing special at all, Wesser is not needed unless he proves otherwise because I thought Merritt was solid at the back for us in the last few games this season, starting to find his feet at fullback. The only signing I am content with and only because of the price is Colin Best, Strong defender and a good attacking player. Here's hoping he continues with his form he has produced this year. We certainly have potential in the halves though, Craig Wing was patchy this season at five-eighth but he has played hooker most of his career so hopefully he finds his feet there. Chrissy Sandow is still only a rookie and while he has been a blessing in disguise for us, The second year syndrome is on everyones mind. Hopefully he digs in in the off-season and continues with his determination and motive ways thats he didn't have at the Titans. Our big achillies heel is our forward pack rotation while our pack itself is solid, We can't expect our forwards to play 80 solid minutes going forward and in defence every single week. We need some aggressive impact players off the bench that can provide good go forward. We do not need Falloon on the bench, We need that extra second rower to provide more options there. We do not need Falloon if Luke can play 80 minutes next season on-wards and if he can't then Wing can go from five-eighth to hooker, Sutton can go from Lock to five-eighth and one of our substitutes like McPherson can go into Lock.

Broncos with Folau will be awesome, with Wallace putting up the high ball they will be a formidable attacking force. Storm lose Folau and have lost their domination due to the thrashing they received at the hands of Manly. Sharks probably will be a bit higher, especially with Barrets return...maybe move them up ahead of the Titans
